'We enjoyed our stay at Bella Mar! We stayed in room #1 by the pool. The AC was cold and the room was clean. The views are beautiful. You have full use of the outdoor kitchen and the full size refrigerator is shared by all 6 rooms. Plenty of space for drinks etc. Caribbean Garden next door was excellent for breakfast and dinner. That said, the listing was misleading regarding several advertised amenities. One of the primary reasons we selected this property was the advertised beach access. While there is direct access to the cliffside views, there is no actual direct access to the beach below. Guests must walk a considerable distance off-property to find a safe path down to the shoreline.

'for a 4 star hotel I expect a lot more. staff was not able to provide an invoice with the company name, required for reimbursement (business travel). you have to pay credit first to have something written to your room. a blockage on the credit card was not possible in order to have everything the the room invoice. Receipts where not provided for whatever you ate or drank. not worth the money we paid but is was close to the congress. '

'Great resort the food was pretty good overall. A bit of wait with the “first come first serve”, but the quality of food makes up for it. Customer service was great. My only complaint is that my room did not have hot water for 3 mornings back to back, also I’m not sure why they took away irons and ironing board from the rooms, steamers are not as efficient. Also check out was out 12 and I was a few minutes over and was being rushed out and reminded of a 50$ fee for one hour over.'
