'We stayed here for one night and we loved it. It’s at a great location. Close to Newburyport center where all the stores and restaurants are. We arrived late so we did not get a chance to experience the restaurant they have at the facility. The room was beautiful and very clean. Everything was provided. Loved the coastal decor vibe. Easy to check in with a code after 5pm. Overall we enjoyed our stay very much.'

'Great place to stop if you're looking to be close to the tri-state area, going to Boston or just road-tripping. The staff were exceptionally kind and offered a microwave as an amenity when we needed one to heat up our leftover food. They even came to bring it. Housekeeping was thorough and rooms smelled clean. I have a high standard for cleanliness, and I am sad to say that the motel is showing its age a bit. Particularly the area around the toilet is rusty and has a lot of icky places, and...

'The location is good. The staff that I dealt with was helpful, pleasant and friendly. The one issue was at checkout. There was no one at the front desk but I could hear someone in the back (of the desk area that is not visible to guests). After waiting a couple of minutes, I shouted back, “Is anyone working the front desk?” The talk in the back continued. The line got longer waiting for service. I repeated my question, loud enough to be heard two more times. I left furious over the incident....

'The window on our room was not closing well, screen was missing . We reported it right away, but was not not fixed. They also did not not inform us that rooms are cleaned every three days (based on the day you check in), but the front desk person was very accommodating and gave us fresh towels and water bottles. Other than that, if you request for a room facing out to the front you’ll really get a nice view (highway included of course haha!).'

Op steenworp afstand ligt het stadje waar enkele restaurants te vinden te zijn. Het stadje op zich is rustig.Mooie omgeving.'

'Beautiful historic inn right in downtown Newburyport, very comfortable bed, in room coffee but also lobby coffee and continental (and complimentary) breakfast. The was are a little thin as to be expected with a historic hotel. This did not bother me, but some travelers may want to be aware. Also if booking and mobility is an issue, mention it at the desk as again, it is a historic property. There are a few twists and turns and steps to get to your room. 'Convenient location but has really gone downhill. Grass hadn’t been cut, hallways were dirty and for a 5 nite stay they cleaned our room once. Had to ask for new towels and got an attitude from housekeeping. Breakfast was also just so so. Will stay elsewhere next time we’re in town.'
