Beds and kitchen table chairs were ridiculously low to the ground, as if the room was setup for little people. Staff was nice. They charge their customers daily parking fees. I asked about those later-billed credit card charges when they showed up on my credit card a couple days after returning home. They also make you place a little, yellow slip on your dashboard that identifies you as being a paying a customer, like the campgrounds do. A genuine pain and something I've never seen before in my many travels. Their only explanation and justification for these daily charges was that "a number of other hotels do it." Not an acceptable and reasonable response, in my opinon. The property, after all, is remote and not in an area where other business are located and people, other than their customers, might use and take up parking spaces needed by their customers. A couple days later, after refusing to return my parking fees, without notification, they credited me back the full parking fees. So, somebody made the decision change to handle my complaint quietly. I dont know if they actually changed the greedy policy for everyone, however. I would check, before returning there, and I would ask for a room with normal height chairs and a bed. It looked like they just placed the box spring on the floor. So, getting out of bed was rough on my old knees. Other than these things, I would go back because everything else was rather nice. In fact, I would make this hotel my first choice.
