'The pictures of the property I believe were taken when the dock was new. They didn't state that the boat lift worked...I assumed. My bad. Part of the boat dock was collapsed and in the water.Keep in mind you are right on the main highway with alot of 18 wheeler traffic. The house was very clean, everything that we used worked as expected. Alot of amenities such as games and cards. Plenty of parking for boat trailers. If you are not a fan of mexican food. Expect to go to Oak Grove....

'Molly was superb with her quick response with all of our questions. She was very helpful before and during the stay. The property was not as clean as we would have expected. But it wasn’t terrible. It would’ve been nice with more transparency with regard to pricing breakdown details. If the property can sleep 12 and we had 10 people including three children, why were there charges for extra guests?'

'Very disappointed with my stay at Americas Best Inn in Bastrop. My room had rust around the sink and bathtub drains, buildup on the shower head, and hair left in the tub. The front desk showed me four other rooms, but every one had the same issues. This wasn’t a one-room problem—it appeared to be a property-wide cleanliness and maintenance issue. Guests deserve better.'

'The property was well maintained, and my room was clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly, and the overall experience was positive. My only complaint was that the air conditioning unit was quite loud, which made it difficult to get a good night's sleep. Other than that, I enjoyed my stay and would consider staying there again.'
