It’s about 15 minutes from the airport and Sidi Bou Said, which made getting around easy. The host, Medhi, was incredibly helpful and even assisted with transportation to my next accommodation. 'I loved the Dar Souad! It’s like a little oasis in what’s a slightly so-so part of town. It’s a 15-min walk to the beach. Taxi rides are easy to snag. (Though hotel staff helped us with important rides - like to the airport.)
The staff is truly the highlight: very kind and helpful. The Dar’s decor is somewhat eclectic, and your appreciation for it grows. Little pool very pleasant after a hot day. Some of the property is a little warn (e.g., room bolts)'

It's also worth noting that there were no dishes, cutlery, or cups provided, so keep that in mind if you plan to use the kitchen. At night, there was a loud buzzing noise from the air conditioning units outside on the roof, which might bother light sleepers.
Breakfast was varied and tasty, with a nice mix of (warm) Tunisian dishes, salads, yogurt, eggs, and croissants. But what really stood out was the friendliness of the staff – everyone was incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay.
