'This was a perfect place for us to stay for our daughter’s wedding in Ararat, NC. We were able to totally relax here! The cabin was extremely clean and well decorated, right down to the cabinet knobs! The hot tub was wonderful and worker perfectly! The view from the porch swing was stunning and we drank our coffee there every morning. We totally enjoyed our visit and hope to return for a longer stay!'

'Super private location ! Very private and not a sound from traffic or neighbors , just tranquility. The home had everything you could possibly need. Pat even had the outdoor fire pit set up and ready for a match !!! We definitely will visit again'

You are within 5 minutes of the Blue Ridge Parkway. Excellent fresh produce available down highway 52 about 20 minutes (keep traveling South on Hwy 52 to arrive in Mt. Airy NC (Mayberry). 'My hubby & I were so in need of a peaceful trip and we were not disappointed! The property was lovely & we enjoyed the seclusion! Our pup & I reveled in the calm of the river space & nature. The only thing we would change was the weather, but no way to do that, is there? This is a great space for couples or families! 'A view near, as in multiple buck, does, and a fawn in the yard as we sat out and chatted, and far that's beautiful day and night will keep us coming. It was supremely quiet in a birders paradise. The cabin was also very well stocked and we wanted for nothing.'

'My family got to the property and the owners were there and seemongly forgot that we were coming. We had to wait about 45 minites for them to get packed up. There was a smoke detector beeping and they said they hoped we could deal with that. We could not as we have people in the family with a strong sensitivity to repetitive noise so we took it down. The property itself is very nice and we did have a good time dispite a rocky start.'
