Flats in Mauna Kahalawai

'This condo is really is close to the ocean. Swimming pool just feet from the condo patio surrounded by a lawn with lounge chairs and BBQs for your use, then a sea wall. You can hear the waves breaking, but can't see them unless you stand on the sea wall. There is no sand beach close by, but if you walk to the end of the street, Haycraft park is there with nice sand beaches. If you sit on the patio the air conditioner is all you will hear when it is running. The condo is older and not well...

'The lanai view of the harbor, jetty, whales, and turtles is mesmerizing. Ma’alaea is an excellent location — easy drive to anywhere on Maui plus the Maui Ocean Center, the cruises out of the harbor, and the shops — loved it all.'

'Parking spot is a little tight but very close to unit, so it worked well for loading / unloading. The unit was clean and recently updated. The location is excellent! '

'We had a great stay here. The downstairs unit has a fantastic porch with multiple sitting areas—we loved coming out in the mornings to have coffee and catch up on some work. The tall ceilings and spacious living area made it feel open and comfortable, and you can tell a lot of thought went into the design to give it a true Hawaii feel.The interior spaces were done really well, and having laundry in the unit was super helpful. 'We love The Whaler!'

'Staff was nice rooms were clean but never came or asked if we needed towels or coffee. Parking was easy. Our ocean front room needed updating and had a few locked doors which was odd. One of them could have been the laundry room. Over all nice place'
