Cottages in Mars Hill

'My family of five stayed here one night before hiking Mars Hill Mountain early the next morning. We appreciated how practical this 1 bedroom/0.5 bathroom lodging was. Had everything we needed, including comfortable beds! Definitely recommended!'

'Property very well maintained and quite beautiful, I was a little confused on what i had booked, so if you book a room your room is located above a garage and event center, they are very well maintained they have a mini fridge and coffee maker, with queen size bunk beds , a couch ,tv and small table, Also if you do book a room there is a flight of stairs you will have to climb not a problem for me , but little difficult for my wife ... anyone with a handicap with walking i would not recommend...

'Alisha was a good host. She replied to messages very fast and was very welcoming. The room was also very nice. '

'Checkin staff was very friendly and helpful. He was able to upgrade our room to a king bed because there were no standards available on the 1st floor and my feet are very painful to walk. Strangely, they only put one wash cloth in king rooms. Bathroom really clean and room very nice. No coffee maker in room but coffee in lobby.'

'This hotel is an oasis of civilization in rural Maine. It is attractive, comfortable and clean. You will need a car in Presque Isle, or pay the sole taxi $35 each way to and from the airport.'

'When I arrived , they did not have a room reserved for me despite my reservation six weeks ago. They claimed Expedia did not notify them. I had to drive 15 miles to another hotel owned by the same person where I stayed.'

'Although there is construction going on at the hotel it was very nice. The only complaint we have is the AC unit in the room kept shutting off all night and one of us would have to turn it back on'
