'Location central to many area attractions! Very comfortable.'

'Extremely welcoming host, and we even worked out staying an additional night because we were having such a great time. I’ve stayed at Alpine Lake at several different properties, and this was the first one that provided keys to be able to use the indoor pool. It was the perfect space for our family of 3 and 2 dogs. 'Private yet minutes to McHenry and Deep Creek Lake State Park. Plenty of space for relaxing and cooking. Only entrance to living area is from the upper deck. Game room is separate entrance on lower level. Deck is a bonus! Great for eating outside or star-gazing in the evenings.'

'We accessed the property and decided to go home instead of stay there for the two nights, so locked the door and left. Why? There are 2 bedrooms on 2nd floor with hard uncomfortable beds, while the only bathroom is on first floor, far away. Only kids could access the loft. Bathroom overly large right off kitchen, while living room small with TV near ceiling. Sat at kitchen table momentarily, but had to move to let partner into bathroom. Nice decks outside, but none screened, so bugs everywhere...

'Warm, clean and welcoming. The cabin is in a great location and well placed for local attractions. Heating system us a little noisy during the night but we did have cold weather so it was working extra hard. '

'Adorable lodge. Clean with comfortable beds. Good amenities and nice shower. There are two bedrooms upstairs (queen bed room and a room with 4 twins beds). Our family of five all stayed upstairs - the kids loved the twin room. There is another bedroom downstairs. The kitchen can use a larger frying pan but is otherwise well appointed. We would stay there again! '
