'a/c didnt work room falling apart ceiling peeling off; falls way short of the ihg standard'

'Room was clean. Bed was comfortable. Could use some hooks and/or towel racks other than the one over the toilet. The sink was in a different room with no where to hang your towel. ?? Heater made the room so dry. Did not sleep for the noise from the heater turning on and off (loud!). Staff was courteous. '

'Perfect house for a group of 7 adults. Lots of comfy seating inside and out on the deck and dock. Well stocked with oil, spices, etc. Master bed was very comfortable. Other beds were OK. Dock area is small and not deep water. That didn't matter to us since we went in September. Wifi was very slow but we had 5 people trying to work so more our fault than the house. Overall, an excellent Lake Gaston rental. '

'Good hotel for the price. I liked the refrigerator with the freezer. I was able to refreeze my ice blocks for my cooler. very spacious. good parking, close to the room I was in. good guest services.'

'This was my first experience with Vrbo and I’m happy to say the overall experience was great. The host provided all details and responded very quickly. The house and decor were very welcoming and comfortable and, everything was clean. And we enjoyed the fire pit that had everything already provided. I have nothing negative to share and will definitely be back when I’m visiting the area again. '

'The property indicates it it a smoke free property but there's a faint smell of smoke that is a turn off. If you are on a budget, this is decent to stay for a night.'

'This property should be removed from Vrbo’s listings. As other reviews have stated, the rental is filthy, full of broken furniture/appliances, and has several unsafe areas. We spent the first day and a half of our stay, cleaning the place. It is clear that this property has not been inspected or maintained for cleanliness in a long time. This is not the result of one careless guest. This is complete neglect.The home has cobwebs, stuck on grease, dirt buildup, bugs, and mold in multiple areas....

'Definitely glamping! There were a lot of thoughts to details to make everyone comfortable. Games to play. Plenty of blankets. Overall very nice!'
