Also, the rooms did get really hot in the evening and it was hard to bring the temperature down, but if you don't mind a toasty room it wasn't too bad. '

'The bedding was so comfortable and nice extra touches with good tea and coffee selection and Soda water and spring water on tap in the foyer. Staff were amazing and location was the best. The breakfast was delicious as well. Definitely a hidden treasure. We will be back for sure. '

'Excellent location with partial beach views. Clean modern room with only overhead lighting and basic facilities, but good size smart tv. No restaurant. Nearby public carpark for a fee at reception. A bit pricey but overall ok. '

'The location is great, 1 block from the beach. There is no A/C. Ok for most days with a cool ocean breeze. Had a record hot spell for 2days, 85F and so a little warm at night'

'Loved the classic hostel feel and intense walkability and beach access. The facility needs some repairs, but if you're young and traveling and need an inexpensive place, perfect. It's loud, but no more so than any other hostel experience. I felt a bit too old to be there at 29, but then again I'm fairly low key and wasn't keen on the party life.'
