  • A fully equipped, recently built (2003) beach home with two comfy bedrooms with yummy queen beds, a great room, a private deck outside the kitchen, and a cozy, romantic rooftop living room or a back yard jacuzzi with ocean views and starry, starry nights. Our beach house and decks are protected from the strong winds that buffet the bluffside. Take a walk down the nature path or the road past Pomo Lake to the private, gated beach for five miles of sandy coast, dramatic rocks, and lively tidepools to explore. Or just cross the road and enjoy the thick Mendocino forest. Our home is two fully independent duplexes. Sarah and I have the smaller one bedroom south side, but we are rarely in residence. If by chance we are there during your visit, we are especially quiet and considerate.

Great location with nice deck view of the Pacific. Kitchen is furnished well with full size stove/oven (mini fridge). Two types of coffee makers affords options. Deer grazed each morning and evening in backyard. Convenient to Irish Beach, state parks, Gualala, Pt Arena Lighthouse and Mendocino. Try Luna there and St Orres Restaurant in Gualala. My wife and I really enjoyed Jess’ place.

Comfortable stay

We enjoyed our stay here and felt the descriptions were accurate and the local information about activities were so helpful. The kids loved the bakery and the B. Bryan Reserve.

This place was a total dream! My partner and I stayed here for a long weekend for our anniversary and already want to go back. The house has everything you need - big living space with tons of natural light, a well stocked kitchenette with full stovetop & oven (cooking was a breeze), two outdoor patios for enjoying the view, comfy beds, and a hot tub perfect for stargazing. Plus, the semi-private beach nearby is PERFECT!! There's parking, bathrooms, and it's only a short walk from the car to the beach, so you aren't hauling a cooler full of snacks for ages. The house is also conveniently located near Point Arena for some cute shops & eateries, and we had deer visit the meadow out back daily. Overall, staying here was truly great - the place was clean, well stocked (kitchen supplies, towels, bedding, etc.), and the check in / out process was a breeze. We were just two people but you easily could have 4-5 (there was an air mattress in one of the bedroom closets). Highly recommend!

Was a nice secluded home for a few days. The stars are so bright and plentiful, saw many shooting stars. The hot tub was a nice addition.

Excellent Getaway

We love the Irish Beach area and have visited several times, and this place is a highlight. The location and views are terrific, the place is modern yet comfortable, and Jess is a really great host!

Peaceful Getaway

This was perfect for our weekend getaway - close to CA Hwy 1 to explore the coast, well positioned near Gualala, Pt Arena, and Mendocino, and a comfortable home with all that we needed.

Coastal Retreat

My gf and I enjoyed our stay at this coastal property. Plenty of room including 2 bedrooms, a living room and a kitchen that were all clean. The beach was wonderful.

Great location and access to a beautiful beach where you can roam for miles. It is small but has all you need. Great for a couple or small family.

A lovely and quiet home with wildlife wandering through the yard! Having access to the private beach was very special. The fireplace needs to be fixed, but other than that, all in all a great stay. Thanks!

Peace and quiet

Very much enjoyed our stay. Place is quaint and comfortable. It was a joy watching the family of quails graze right outside the backyard. Will definitely plan a return soon.

Peaceful & Spacious

A comfortable, clean, and spacious TIC-type space in a peaceful neighborhood and a short walk/drive from an exceptionally beautiful private beach, accessible to local house owners (and you). The deck on the roof was very nice for stargazing and the Manchester location is great for exploring the surrounding coast. We enjoyed our stay here very much!
