Strandhotels in Maine Highlands

'Clean room, well kept hotel, great staff, free parking well illuminated, didn’t have breakfast so can rate'

'It was my first time stay at this place. I loved it. Very clean, nice and cozy. The room had everything one needs for few night stay. Centrally located to attractions, shopping, recreation activities. Definitely will stay again.'

'We had a wonderful stay at the Motel on the River. The owners are wonderful, helpful people and they really show interest in their guests. They gave us good advice about places worth visiting in the area and we also used the Motel as a base to drive to Acadia National Park, which is beautiful. We ( parents with 3 young adults) climbed the beehive trail in the Park which is really worth climbing, not only for the adventure but also because of the beauty of te surroundings. Thanks for everything...

'Staff not very friendly. Looks like they hate their jobs. Young lady finished signing guest in and walked away without saying anything. Gentlemen at the end of the counter totally ignored us for a while then brought up his head and asked if we had reservations. No smile, no welcome to the comfort Inn. These two employees are the first in the front lines that make for a good stay or a bad one. Rooms were very clean. The two employees certainly need some training'

'Great stay. Clean room & nice access for pets'

'Great place to stay! Would certainly stay again.'

'Quaint inn, very quiet and perfect for solo travel. Hosts were responsive and helpful in guiding me to a replacement of the TV remote, which had dead batteries. Not luxurious but just what I needed for an overnight stay.'

'zoals verwacht : een hotel met de faciliteiten die wij zochten. '

Breakfast is very limited, only coffee/tea, wheat bread with jelly and granola bars, but I believe that the accomodation did not state that the breakfast was included so any extra food was a positive surprise.'

'Leuk casino hotel. Precies wat je kunt verwachten.'

'Nice room. Clean and centrally located! Digital door locks were a nice change to a key card.'

'Loved this little place! Beautiful property and view. The breakfast wasn’t anything special and continental style. With a restaurant on site it would have been nice to have a hot breakfast that was cooked. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. We asked for tea at night and the attendant brought us a tray with a tea pot, honey, cups with saucers…very thoughtful touch and appreciated. It is an older building, but still comfortable. Our room had a fireplace and towel warmer. I would...
