'We had a wonderful stay at the Motel on the River. The owners are wonderful, helpful people and they really show interest in their guests. They gave us good advice about places worth visiting in the area and we also used the Motel as a base to drive to Acadia National Park, which is beautiful. We ( parents with 3 young adults) climbed the beehive trail in the Park which is really worth climbing, not only for the adventure but also because of the beauty of te surroundings. Thanks for everything...

'Staff not very friendly. Looks like they hate their jobs. Young lady finished signing guest in and walked away without saying anything. These two employees are the first in the front lines that make for a good stay or a bad one. Rooms were very clean. The two employees certainly need some training'

We asked for tea at night and the attendant brought us a tray with a tea pot, honey, cups with saucers…very thoughtful touch and appreciated. It is an older building, but still comfortable. Our room had a fireplace and towel warmer. I would...

'Quaint inn, very quiet and perfect for solo travel. Hosts were responsive and helpful in guiding me to a replacement of the TV remote, which had dead batteries. Not luxurious but just what I needed for an overnight stay.'

'Nice room. Clean and centrally located! Digital door locks were a nice change to a key card.'

'Perfect for an early morning flight!'
