Ce 5 chambres, 2 salles de bain maison offre beaucoup d'espace de couchage pour tout l'équipage (2 Queens, 2 doubles, 4 jumeaux, 1 Divan-lit). Faire tremper dans les vues de montagne longue portée pendant que vous prenez dans la splendeur de cet endroit incroyablement privé. De la terrasse couverte au plancher de planche et poutres apparentes vous serez ravis avec le regard, le toucher et la vue. Traiter les enfants à un feu de camp dans la mine à ciel ouvert que vous griller des guimauves et rappeler votre journée Maggie Valley. Distant seulement quelques minutes de la "Cataloochee Ski Resort & Ranch" infâme et la belle ville de Maggie Valley. Selon la période de l'année vous pouvez pêcher, randonnée pédestre, ski, tube, radeau, dîner, boutique, monter un train, visiter la réserve indienne Cherokee, conduire le Blue Ridge Parkway ou tout simplement se blottir avec vous livre préféré que vous réchauffer par la belle cheminée complète avec insert fermé en pierre. Overall the cabin was perfect for a mountain getaway. I read reviews and double checked the amenities and nowhere did I see where it said no AC. Now the nights were cool, but I had guests that had breathing and heart issues so it would have been good to know ahead of time.

Best location but needs additional things to take care

The road to property is so bad that I was struck in Jungle 2+ hours the day I need to check-in leaving my rating to 4. Keep at least 1 light on. driveway was filled heavy leave wheels were slipping. rooms had cobwebs. Property interiors, location and all is awesome. I am surely going to visit this place again. Kids and family visited - simply loved it. I recommend this place to others

There was rodent poop on and under all of the beds. Two beds has stashes of nuts the rodents had collected. The poop was small, so I guess it was mice. We did not see the rodents. We contacted the manager who apologized and promised a full refund. He was unable to provide alternate accommodations but we were able to find rooms at a local hotel.

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The inside of the house was beautiful and the location was great! The house heated very well once we figured out how to use the heaters. Kitchen had all the appliances to cook for Thanksgiving. The beds were extremely comfortable and the rooms were warm. We did see some minor things that needed to be taken care of. The whole house needs to be swept good and mopped. Also, the house could use a good dusting. The couches needs to be cleaned out as well, they had a pile of dust in them. Besides that, the view was beautiful and we would definitely rent the cabin again!

good for families and teens

This property was what I expected for a mountain cabin. Large, comfortable, full of well used furniture. not overly clean--lots of dried vegetation on the porch, behind the doors were spider webs, dust, etc. The sheets were clean, the beds were well used (but kids don't complain), and the cupboards not overly clean (we washed pots/pans before use). There was a starter supply of toilet tissue, dish soap. Bath towels and wash cloths plentiful if small, but only 1 kitchen towel, not dish cloth or sponge. Generous number of plates, silverware, cups, coffee mugs. Large bedrooms, 3 full baths, a laundry room, and open kitchen, dining and family space. The porch was excellent, with plenty of squeaky rockers, a hammock, and swing. View was amazing.

Not a good place to stay

The house was not clean at all. One of the beds had been peed in and the sheet where not washed at all. The dryer you had to dry the clothes 5 times to get the dried. The microwave way made noise when u tried to use it. The steps on the the front porch was messed up and cause a fall and a trip to urgent care. I would not ever stay at this place again.The landscaping was no done the weeds were high as the porch, someone was supposed to come and weedeat but never did. One of the queen beds the slats were messed up someone come and said it was a old bed to be careful when sleeping in it. The property manager was very nice.

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was a very basic cabin. Plenty of blankets,towels, and bedding. kitchen had plenty of cookware but nothing to store leftovers. Heating worked well in most rooms. We did find and pull out electic heaters for downstairs. We were unsure if we could use the fireplace there were no instructions provided so we didnt. The cabin was not very clean upona arrival, as in other reviews, it could use a good deep clean, but it just went along with its rustic charm. The rooms were as described. Plenty of space. Twin beds were not comfortable but the other beds were fine. There is cable TV but no other entertainment in the house- board games, cards, etc, so be prepared. Also you have to check in and out in town, we did not know this either, not a big deal just something we've never had to do with a VRBO before. Overall we would stay here again. It fit our family wonderfully and it was decent price.

Wonderful cabin with lots of room!

The cabin was a joy to stay and and easily accommodated the 8 people in my family that came to this vacation. The location was off of the main road going through Maggie Valley but wasn't so far out that we couldn't easily get back to town if needed. It was really quiet at nice and very peaceful, excellent place to come back to from a fun day in Appalachia. My only cons I have with the place where minor at best. First was the driveway leading up to the cabin. The majority of the road was paved but the driveway like 300' from the cabin it went from paved to crush & run on dirt on a steep incline with a sharp turn into the parking area for the cabin. We were using a rented Jeep Wagoneer so it wasn't too much of an issue for us but make sure your vehicle can handle that kind of road before choosing this cabin. Secondly, know that there is no central cooling for this cabin but there is working heating. It got a bit stuffy there for us but we solved it by buying some simple box fans and placing them in the windows to pull cool air in from outside. Again, not a deal breaker and should have been expected with a mountain cabin. Just be sure to bring some fans when you come to do the same in the Summer, shouldn't be an issue in Fall or Winter. Thirdly, there's no WiFi nor internet in general availible at this location. When we booked our reservation VRBO listed that it had WiFi but when we checked in Carolina Rentals stated it had no internet. Be prepared to use your phone's plan.

Great Stay

Our group of 12 Scouts visited to go snowboarding and this fit our needs and price point perfectly. It was close to the Ski resort and town and check-in and check-out were easy. The kitchen was stocked well with everything we needed including a regular and pod coffee pot. Which is very important when traveling with teenagers. lol, and the kids loved the firepit which they used even though it we freezing outside. If you rent this cabin, be sure to bring hand soap for the 3 bathrooms, toilet paper, and ice as those items were not available. The comments about the driveway were not joking. We had a 15-passenger van and a big truck. We were told that backing up the drive was the best way and that is true, but it is steep and on the second day we had to park the van at the bottom as we couldn't get it up the drive due to the loose gravel and damp ground. As for the cleanliness, yes there were a few cobwebs, you are in the mountains in the woods, we just dusted them down and went on. I guess as scouts we are used to nature. However, we did have a couple of beds that had hairs between the sheets so I'm pretty sure they were not clean. So you might check that when you get there so you have time to wash them before bedtime. As for the beds, the mattresses on a few of them could stand to be replaced as they are worn out. If you want a great place to eat breakfast, Joey's Pancake House is close by and fabulous. Overall it was a fun trip.

We enjoyed our stay in the cabin. It is very conveniently located near Cherokee, which makes Cherokee easily accessible for day trips.

Reviewer Comments: Driveway is terrible, needs some serious repair, grounds were littered with trash and can, oven had food left in it, fridge dirty, 2 eyes on stove didn’t work properly, floors covered in dirt, chicken bones found in living room and on a bed, bathrooms had hair in showers and on floors, mirrors had slimy smudges, possibly toddler or dog slobber, no ac, that’s fine but fans were broken, steps in back need repair, resulted in 3 twisted ankles, fire pit was full of burned trash, cans etc, cigarette butts littered the yard, 2 of the 3 bathroom sinks didn’t drain well, there was no internet provided as stated on website, several screens need to be repaired, the house was full of moths and small critters due to faulty screen. The house has potential but we paid to go into a clean environment and there was absolutely nothing clean about the house. That is somewhat disturbing. Called the rental company upon arrival to report condition and never got a return call.

Maggie Valley

This cabin is tucked away nicely, offering great privacy and serenity. Plenty of space to sleep many. Conveniently located to Cataloochee Ski Resort. Would definitely stay again. Our only issue was a broken kitchen sink faucet but we made do.

The kitchen faucet was broken and water came out from side. We informed the management company to fix. They said they'll come and fix, but nobody came. There was no wifi, but it said, it had. So many restrictions - no soap, paper towel, only 2 garbage bags. These small things make it inconvenient for renter than owner. Not worth it.

Into the woods

Cabin was well planned into the woods. It was dusty inside, it would be nice if it well vacuumed the furniture and beds. Lot of antiques and nicely planned for small groups. Good to go with two families.
