Herbergen in Louds Island

'Amenities were basic. Breakfast was cold continental , with toast available. Room was in need of updating- ie: rusted towel rack in bathroom, tile floors with no rug to wipe feet when coming in from the rainy outdoors. But, The retro frig and microwave were fun and staff was polite and responsive.'

'It was not far from the church in Warren, where we were attending a conference. Having breakfast at the hotel each morning made is so much easier to participate in the meetings at the church. Also, close to a restaurant many of us also ate at.'

'This little place was excellent! Great views, very convenient to walk everywhere. The morning breakfasts were delicious! Would definitely stay again!'

'Amazing property with great host, glad to come back again for another week'

'We had an amazing stay at the Greenleaf Inn. Although we only stayed one night the owner was amazing and welcoming! He gave us the best local recommendations. We also slept so amazing as everything was clean in the room and the bed was so comfortable. 10/10 would recommend (and stay a little longer!)'

'This was the perfect size for us for a short stay. It had all the essentials, and it was clean and tidy. (We spend most of our time outside and away from our lodging when on vacation.) I discussed a couple of small concerns with the host, and he was very responsive. We would stay there again in the future.'

'Great location, excellent accommodations, perfect for our weekend adventure.'

'Great place to stay! We will stay here again!'

'This property was immaculate! Gorgeous setting, delicious breakfasts, stunning views. Our first time vacationing in Maine and it was a treat! Brianna was so helpful and very accommodating...can't say enough good things about our experience at this property!!'

'Very quiet and peaceful. Lovely hosts with horses and sheep. Similar interests in spinning and knitting. Denise teaches spinning so if you want to try your hand, she has extra wheels. Only negative for us oldies- bedrooms upstairs and bathrooms down with having to navigate steep narrow steps.'

'5 stars! Couples trip and we were thrilled with what we arrived to after a drive from upstate NY. Super cute, clean, safe - and so convenient to everything as stated! Host is very responsive and available - everything was as stated! Small details made it even cuter!Body wash/conditioner/shampoo readily available - also K cups and everything you need for a coffee for your sad ride home from this perfect little cottage in the majestic state of Maine. 🦞We really enjoyed this stay and would...

'Had no hot water at 10 pm. We called and they said what time you taking showers in the am? What does it matter. Wanted to give my child a bath now. '

'We absolutely loved our stay here! The location near the beach is perfect; what a beautiful and quiet neighborhood. Of all the places we stayed on our trip this one felt the most like Maine. Maybe it was the beautiful character of the restored older home or the great, peaceful location near the water. We would definitely stay here again.'
