'This place was excellent! We decided to spend an extra night in Boothbay on a whim and stumbled upon Topside. We loved it so much that we'll absolutely be back. Breakfast the next morning was such a treat. It felt luxurious without being pretentious—beautifully done, warm, and incredibly welcoming. It was the perfect way to end our stay, and we can't wait to return.'

The only caveats were climbing the steep stairs, which could be a problem for some and the restaurant which is below the inn was quite noisy with patrons dining outside until 9:00 pm.'
