'Seems like it would be a nice enough place to stay with the family for a vacation getaway right on a lake. However, we were traveling across I-80 and just needed a place to stay overnight. This was a ways off the highway, so it required some extra driving to get there. The room was okay. It's an old motel that has been renovated but still seems a little tired.'

'The room was clean, but the back yard area had alot of dog poop, with a sign posted asking to clean up after your dog. I had my 2yr old running around in the grass until I noticed dog poop scattered around all over the property. Also, the water park was closed, due to a live band performing, yet this information wasn't mentioned during booking. That's the reason why I stood at this hotel.'

'This was, I think, the creepiest place I've ever stayed. I do have to mention that the woman at the front desk was absolutely lovely--but she was the only good part of my stay. There were a couple of the tiny roaches in my shower both times I showered (I had to stay two nights). My door looked like it had been mangled in a knife fight. The hallway looked, no joke, very much like the hallway in The Shining. I felt safe enough, like physically, once I had locked the doors-- but it felt very dirty...

'Average motel room, clean but old and small. Staff very friendly and always available to help but housekeeping is on demand only. We stayed for a week and have to go to front desk to ask for housekeeping to obtain clean towels and sundries every third day when we see nobody coming to make room. Wifi is very patchy and slow in the room, frequently without internet in the evening unless you go to the office or park in proximity to office if you want to connect to internet. 'The reviews of this place are incredibly polarizing. Some people think it is the worst place they have ever seen. Others think of it as a twee little time capsule, an example of the pocono mountains in their former glory. The truth is a bit in between, though it is, in cat the worst place I have ever stayed. (And I am a sucker for cheap motels) You can see evidence of its former glory. It seems kinda clean, but it is very run down. Whoever runs this place has done a number of shoddy repairs....
