'Location was good and also the matras was ok. The Bath and furniture were dated, Bath rust and mold. View from the window on garbage from hotel. We had lots of flies in the room. The TV was not working properly (bad receipt most channels). No soap and shampoo at shower (both empty). No cleanup room and clean towels for 2nd night. We paid for breakfast but was poor. On tables outside in the morning they left all the bottles and glasses. They are not looking after the place. Much much too...

'Perfect location (two minute walk to daughter's house); excellent breakfasts, particularly the porridge; fun pub downstairs, loved a cappella rehearsal.'

'A friendly welcome to the property. Although nowhere in the village to eat in the evening, we were recommended a restaurant 5 minute drive away in Corwen. Straightforward continental breakfast in the morning available. As the pub shut at 10pm, there was no late night noise so enjoyed a good night's sleep. A great base for exploring the area.'

'Place excellent great staff nice food only problem was there was no chair in my room if you lay on the bed you fall asleep but great place'

'Parkeren is ideaal bij het hotel en het centrum op loopafstand.'

'Great location, very friendly and helpful staff! Recommend this to anyone!'

'That was exceptional inn We have been traveling around the Uk but that was the best inn we have been to The food is great, breakfast is very rich and the hospitality is fantastic There are several walks around the inn and there are easy to walk '

'The Oaklands is a nice hotel with a great bar and beer garden. It is relatively close to the centre, you can walk. The room is nothing special but everything works. Easy to park.'

'Great people and breakfast'

'The breakfast was really good as were the evening menu choices. In the room, the guide understated the amenities. It was modest about the WIFI capabilities which I thought were actually very good. Similarly, there was a reference to decaffeinated coffee being available for the room on request but it was actually already there.'

'Loved our stay here. Very quiet room, clean and cosy. Fabulous staff, especially Shannon. Good food too. Highly recommend.'

'Gezellig, aan de rand van het centrum. Vriendelijke mensen. Kamer is netjes. Prima!'
