« arrived to be told there was a private fonction t that the kitchin could feed us if we were prepared to wait a while. Wewaited and didn't regret it! Fantastic ar food fish nd chips and home made burger really good. therom was nice and cosy too »

« Angel Inn is close to the centre of Petworth, the staff were very friendly and welcoming. The room was clean and spacious, the bed was very comfortable, the bathroom had a large modern bath and separate shower and everything was very clean. We appreciated the teapot in the room and selection of teas, also the complimentary flapjack. We ate in the restaurant area of the inn and had an excellent meal. »

« Room was TINY. Smelt of toilets and woken by multiple church bells at 5 am. No staff at breakfast time. Cereal and toast. Wouldn’t stay here again. Not worth the money. »

« This is a beautifully renovated hotel a short drive or bus ride from Brighton. The bus comes every 10 minutes and it’s a pretty drive into town. Our room had a gorgeous view over the south downs and the sea. The staff were friendly and attentive. The breakfast was lovely. The bed was super comfortable and we had a great night’s sleep. Would definitely recommend. »

« no internet acces in my room. Sorted within 5 minutes by getting an new room, upgraded, with internet connection. Great service. could spend a nice evening »
