« Amazing place to stay in when in Darien. Dave and JoAnn were wonderful hosts and made us feel very welcome. The inn is located in the quiet neighborhood. Great views of the marsh from their patio. Room was very clean and cozy. Will stay here again next time we’re in town. »

Old southern charm, but with emphasis on the old— our room was as clean as housekeeping could possibly make it, but the carpet had large stains, shower door can’t stay shut, paint on bathroom ceiling and parts of walls cracked and peeling. Tile missing on bathroom floor. Brilliant location right in historic district because hotel is pretty much the historic anchor (former exclusive millionaires club built at end of 19th century). « We really enjoyed our stay. The room and facility is beautiful, the staff were friendly and helpful, and we had a great supper at the restaurant just next to the hotel. Love the view. »

« This property calls itself a resort. There are no amenities apart from beach chairs. The photos on the web are a scam. There is NO management on the property. I feel totally taken in by false promises »

« Nice place but the room is very dated. The beach access at the pool has been removed so you have to go all the way around the hotel to access the beach. The beach bar has been closed due to renovations that have not even started. You can still get food and drinks you just have to wait for someone to come around and ask you. There is multiple pools so I think one should be designated for adults only. All that isn't bad but for over $500 per night we expected a lot more! »
