'An idyllic stay at a property that was delightful, from the views to the overall comfort, and was well and amply stocked with thoughtful amenities. The location is great, in terms of proximity to Damariscotta and environs, but one also feels worlds away from the hustle and bustle of summer tourists. The kayaks were fun, as was looking for animals in the water at low tide. A true haven of a rental that was much appreciated!'

'Had a fantastic stay at the pondside cabin. Quiet, peaceful, and serene. Cabin was lovely, clean and full of thoughtful amenities. Enjoyed taking the kayak out for spin and wildlife watching (the hummingbirds were probably sick of me!) Thank you Dawn & co. for a great week!'

'Well appointed and comfortable cabin. Loved the retro fridge and microwave and sitting on the deck with a morning coffee. We awoke to a woodsy view every morning. The location was perfect for us; convenient to Wiscasset, Damariscotta and Pemaquid Point. Our host was fabulous with his timely communication and down east hospitality. If we pass through this way again, we will be sure to stay here again.'

'Great spot on the pond! Wonderful place for couple or one person to stay. The dogs loved the fenced in yard and so did we. Home had everything we needed to make meals. Also had many of the small things like coffee filters, foil, a few zip lock bags etc that saved us having to pick up. 'This is a wonderful, very private property with easy access to the water. Communication with the owner was great. The lake was generally quiet, and there were a few days when I was the only one out there on my kayak. The property was spacious enough to take the dogs for a couple walks a day and never have to leave the property. We were thrilled to find 2 organic farms/markets within about 10 miles and didn’t need to venture out further than that. The house was well stocked with everything we...

'House was very clean with the exception of some dust/sand on floors, even though you could not see it walking on the floors in bare feet always felt that that maybe a good washing was needed. We just swept with the broom/vacuum and it was better. But one thing that really stood out when arriving is the cement stairs dug into the hill that you needed to go down to get to the house. So glad that there was a railing to hold onto because the stairs were not level at all. This posed a real threat to...
