'Prima hotel, op doorreis of als uitvalsbasis voor uitstapjes in de omgeving. Kamer, badkamer en bedden waren goed. Het ontbijt was uitgebreid, met vers fruit (aardbeiden, frambozen, blauwe bessen), yoghurt en ruime keuze in Engelse ontbijt-varianten met ei, bacon etc. Ook het avondeten was er prima. Vlak naast het hotel zijn er Tesla oplaadpunten, die ook door niet-Tesla's gebruikt kunnen worden, en die met hoge snelheid kunnen laden. Handig!'

'We were a family of 3 plus a cockapoo staying in The Tweed. The room was perfect for us. Loved the decor and attention to detail. It was nice to sit in the sun in the morning in the little garden with a coffee and listen to the birds. We had dinner and breakfast in the pub. The food was ok but the service could have been better. We booked in advance and were seated straight away but we found nobody came over to ask if we wanted drinks and we ended up having to stand in the queue at the bar....

'We stayed one Saturday night in early August. A nice welcoming hotel with ample parking. We had a premier room which was very comfortable, quiet, and had pleasant views over the gardens. The staff were really friendly and helpful, and reminded us that everything in the minibar was complimentary! As we’d eaten prior to arriving, the snacks and drinks - both alcoholic and soft were just enough to keep us satisfied until our good night’s sleep. 'A beautiful hotel with very generous sized, clean, cosy rooms; well stocked with tea, coffee, chocolate and biscuits. Unfortunately though, our mattress and pillows were quite hard making for an uncomfortable night's sleep. An excellent breakfast with a very good choice of cooked food, fresh fruit, pastries and cereals etc. It would be even better if you could have a latte instead of the filter coffee but that is only a small thing.'
