'For the cost of what we paid for the rental, it was fantastic. It has 2 great outdoor spaces, with a top and lower deck. It is small, but enough space for what we needed. It needs a few simple things, that I noticed others mention, like more towels. We are 60 guest and had to maneuver to get up the outdoor steps and to get in to the high ledge bath tub/showers. We found the furniture and beds comfortable. The kitchen had just about anything you could use, but a big pot to boil spaghetti. We...

'Wow! This is by far the best cabin we have ever rented. It was beautifully decorated and located in the most serene location. It was secluded from others, and overlooked the most beautiful river. We didn't want to leave. My husband and I have decided that we will always look to see if this cabin is available for any future trips we make to this area. We highly recommend this rental! '

'Very clean and well maintained property'

'The creek is amazing. Deep enough to wade into. Location is convenient to Banner Elk (you have to try the Wilderness Run Alpine Coaster!!) and Boone (have to try Coyote Kitchen and Stick Boy!) While you're at it head up Beech Mountain in the summer and ride the chair lift to the top (there's a bar up there) and watch the mountain bikers ride down the mountain. House was convenient to all of this! Can't wait to return. Oh yeah, the homemade sour dough bread and jam are a welcome surprise. '

'Had a great time staying here the space is just big enough to be comfortable while the outside is a very enjoyable area to hang out and relax. It's also conveniently located to Boone and there lots of things to do within a short drive'

'As always, the best place to stay!! I have been staying here a lot due to my job beeing in Jefferson and I have never experienced an uncomfortable stay. The hosts are just as beautiful as the scenery and their home. I don’t think I could express enough on how much I love coming here!!!'

'This house is small but spacious. Perfect for four people to stay in. It was clean and we loved the decor and feel of the place. Super cute! The porch was huge with a table you could eat at. It had everything we needed to be comfortable. The second bedroom was detached from the main house but it worked fine for us. The amenities in the community were great. We were there for the 4th of July and there were so many activities planned for kids and adults. The pool and lake are not within walking...

"One night stay here after staying at their sister hotel in Raleigh. The property itself is fine but no atmosphere compared to Raleigh. Easy parking, clean and comfortable room. Not much to do within walking distance, except a burger takeaway. We tried to walk to a nearby microbrewery. It should've been a 5 minute walk, but we found it impossible to cross the 6-lane highway in front of the motel so gave up and went back to our room. Maybe, as Europeans, we're not used to the American way of driving everywhere, but to visit a brewery, walking would seem a safer option. Pleasant enough motel but not sure we'd return."
