'Melrose Mansion is a great place to stay in, if you are visiting New Orleans. The rooms are very nice and spacious and have a great look & feel. Our room was very clean, which is quite important to us. Across the street is a bar, which sometimes had some loud guests, which is the only downside we can think of. The breakfast is sufficient and the staff is very kind & helpful. The pool is a nice addition to the overall stay. Highly recommended!'

'I did not think it was possible to find a quiet place in the French Quarter till I stayed here. Even on New Year's Eve, there was minimal noise. It's great to stay in an historic property so close to all the action but far enough away to sleep well. Frenchman Street and all of its live music is a 10 minute walk away.
