'We were the first guests of the season and our hosts were wonderful! The space is smallish and clean with a comfy bed and excellent a/c. It was just enough space for my husband and I. The apartment is right on the lake and has a fantastic view. Nothing is super close out there (as is the case with most of the Finger Lakes region), but there are some great restaurants in the nearby towns, beautiful state parks and tons of water activities. Highly recommend staying at Carmella and Rod's place!'

We had excellent communication with our host who was very accommodating. We were close to many beautiful hikes and waterfalls, and spent our evenings enjoying the cozy house. 'This is a true lake house. Property is right on the east side of the lake, water is crystal clear and sunsets are amazing. Where the property sits is almost in a cove with a rock bottom in about 4 feet of calm water. The cottage was as advertised, ample space for the people we had. It was clean and welcoming. The kayaks were an added bonus!!'

The cottage was fantastic, views perfect and loved, absolutely loved the towns of Preble, Homer and Cortland. We were fortunate enough to get to enjoy the fire pit for S’mores, the lake for fishing and had PERFECT weather for windows open and cool breezes! James was so easy to communicate with and made our stay extra special with the smores basket and breakfast supplies he had waiting for us! The views from every room are to die for and the fact that there were four kayaks available for our family to use made it possible for us all to enjoy the beauty of the lake together. 'Great little property. Neat, clean and tidy. Bedrooms and bath are very small but common area was great for a family of 6. Common area outside was very welcoming by a few of the all summer owners. Our 2 year old niece had a great time playing with one family’s outside toys (with permission of course).'

We had a woodsy, charming and short walk to the lake which our Italian Greyhound especially enjoyed. The bed, the bedding, the towels, the dishes, the cooking utensils were good quality and more than adequate. And the availability of firepit and wood was an extra treat.
