'Very clean and comfortable'

'A great little place. I’d enjoyed a stay here one time before—on a Monday night. This time it was a Wednesday so The Laurel was open! I checked in at 7:45 so only 15 minutes before closing. I walked down the stairs, they gave me a table, I had a fantastic cocktail and very very tasty steak bites with nice accompaniment. They made sure I got a shot at a second drink before closing as well. The rooms are delightfully furnished and the bathrooms are a standout feature. As they mention on premises,...

'The room and the check in were not like the pictures shown. The room was clean but dated. The sheet were worn and the towels thin. The property was in a sketchy area. Otherwise, the room was warm and cozy. Would I stay there again? No, but it works for those with a tight budget'
