' The large windows in our room opened up to a beautiful view of the Ashley River., We also enjoyed having a real wood-burning fireplace. Our favorite part was the walkway to the Middleton Plantation. The Azalea’s were stunning in late March. We had dinner at the restaurant at Middleton plantation.And then we walked the lighted path back to our room. Magical! We enjoyed the Inn’s wonderful complimentary breakfast bar the next morning as well! '

'The indoor pool was not heated as advertised The outdoor pool was frigid! Beach renovation was 24 hrs if noise and backup warning sounds on the heavy equipment The room’s floors were never washed or vacuumed for the 8 days we were there and haseboards etc were filthy. I even cleaned the toilet while the housekeeper’s long hair was left in the shower Food from Cafe Blue was less than average In general, the resort did not meet expectations of previous Hilton stays. '

When I checked back on the reservation in March Expedia noted pool maintenance would be taking place the week we booked.
