"We stayed at this hotel before and loved it so much that we decided to return. What made our first visit so memorable was the incredible attention to detail and the little extra touches that made it feel truly special. This time, while the staff were friendly and the property remains beautiful, that magic was missing. Our biggest disappointment was the BBQ night. The food was extremely salty and simply not enjoyable. When the Assistant General Manager asked for feedback, I was honest. She kindly suggested another cut of meat, but it was just as salty, and I couldn't finish it. We also enjoyed a massage or facial every day. Most treatments were excellent, but on our last day my daughter had the same facial she had earlier in the week, and the difference in quality was remarkable. It felt as though the therapist had little experience. These may seem like small issues, but they are what turn a great stay into an exceptional one. We did appreciate the late check-out, which made our departure much easier. I still think most guests will have a wonderful stay here, and I would recommend the hotel. However, it no longer offers the exceptional experience we enjoyed on our first visit, and because of that, we won't be returning."
