Though advertised as "guaranteed" they overbooked the property and the only reason I got the last room was because I checked in before them when we arrived. 'Our stay was enchanting. We were generously upgraded to a River View room. Though small, the room was very clean, comfortable, relaxing and attractive. The views of the river, the beach and forested hills were breathtaking. Breakfast in the morning was upgraded continental and enjoyable. Staff was exceptional. The two nights at this beautiful lodge was pure joy!'

'This property was nice, especially having the large open space in the back with a large pond and walking area for us and our dog nearby. We had some issues with the room: the bathroom door didn’t close completely and the microwave locked itself down and it took much effort to get my drink out. The chair in the room desperately needs a pillow, as it’s horribly uncomfortable without something to fill in the round shape. Don’t bother with the buffet breakfast unless you’re not choosy about...
