And it had good amenities but could have used a few more kitchen staples like tea towels and extra dish cloths and some additional lighting would have been nice. It was centrally located to everything we wanted to see so it was perfect that way. Only issue we had is that no where was it indicated that the development the house is located in is an active construction area either on the listing nor in email...

'The 'Residence & Conference Centre' is a college dormitory turned into a (partial) hotel. The "suite" we reserved for a one-night stay was a very basic 2+ person dorm room, best suitable for couples or people (friends, family members) who prefer to have a room for themselves (since there were two separate bedrooms). The place was clean, the bed was good as was the shower and breakfast was basic, but ok for the price we paid. The best feature of this hotel however was the staff. Great service,...

'My partner and I got married at the nearby Elora Mill Hotel & Spa. We chose to stay with some of our wedding party at Cedarcliff not only because it was close by, but because we know it would be for great pre-ceremony photos of us and our party. The only comment I would make is that the house comfortable sleeps 10, not 12 as the listing suggests. We ended up putting one person in a cot in the living room and another guest on an air mattress we happened to have in our car.'
