'the house was perfect for the two of us. Outside shower was clean (even has a mirror) and underside of house was set up for rainy days and was clean and comfortable (except for mosquitoes which we all must learn to live with). Small but efficient kitchen with all appliances in great working order. Excellent WIFI connection. Only complaint was being too old or dumb to use ROKU/SLING for TV. It took forever to find current evening news. Who watches last nite's evening news anyway?? Not a big...

'While the house can accommodate larger groups we found it perfect for the two of us. Other than the laundry, we didn’t use the lower level. The upper level, which contains the master suite, kitchen/living area, screen porch and sliders onto the deck was spacious (while still feeling cozy). The house was well appointed and nicely decorated in an understated beachy kind of way. The view of the sound was almost as good from the inside as it was from the deck. 'The house is advertised as the best handicapped house in the OBX. We concur this is absolutely correct. The ramp up to the main living floor was very convenient for unloading your vehicle. Everything on the main living floor was accessible including the dock. The location is next to Hatteras Watersports where jet skis and kayaks were available for rent - very convenient! The owners were very responsive to any needs/concerns. For sure, the house rates a 5 star! We look forward to going back!'

'The house is right on dunes overlooking the ocean. The views are unobstructed and breathtaking. Coffee on the deck with the sunrise is an unforgettable experience. Walk over the dunes and you are on a huge beach with few people.'
