'Great stay for a couple of nights, perfect location waking up next to cows each day! Walkable into Haddington. Kitchen head everything to cook breakfast and evening meal, including small oven and hobs'

'Super friendly staff, right on the course, restaurant/bar and good breakfast. What else could you want?'

'Great historical venue, beautiful parkland. Good breakfast. Kind staff. Bedroom: bed too soft, scandalous ‘roll-down’ IKEA curtains that do not block the morning light. Bathroom rudimentary shower (max height 1.70m) with trickling water. '

'The hotel was well set up and modern. Breakfasts and dinners were excellent.'

'Het einige positieve aan deze accomodatie is het vriendelijke en servicegerichte personeel.'

'Beautifully positioned by sea, and right beside golf course. Short walk into the old town. Visited the spa which was very relaxing and well maintained. Breakfast offered a large choice and was well cooked and presented.'

'Great hotel, would stay again!'

'Exceptional history, plenty of snacks and food items left in room for breakfast, highly recommend staying here!'

'Sfeervol hotel op schitterend lokatie. Vanuit de kamer op de 2e verdieping een prachtig uitzicht op zee met de fameuze vogeleiland Bass Rock. De Jan van Genten vliegen langs het hotel. Jammer is de verouderde badkamer en de lage waterdruk.'

'Great location in a beautiful little town, very friendly staff (especially the lady on shift for breakfast), clean room. Would go again.'

'A cozy hotel with lovely beds and clean linen, that's the main thing. Nice that we could also eat here for a reasonable price. Room 2 has a view of the garden with Rowan trees and the church tower.'

'Food was good at hotel'

'I liked the room food and mini fridge options for breakfast and snacks. Suited my early departure plan. Also I was able to put my bike inside at reception ground level., since it’s a small on street building. The room was functional but the sink had a slight smell which would be good to investigate. Great position.'

'The only word to describe the holiday home and the whole experience is perfect. I can't use the word caravan and it's better than that it's a true home from home. It had everything you need and more.. Kids loved the fast broadband and smart TV. There was a welcome basket with things you need for your first night.. I would recommend this home to anybody and everybody xxx'

'The location is exceptional as it is in town and wonderful views. The house is very clean and lots of room. This would be perfect for a family or group of golfers. The property manager was helpful with the washing machine. It is not luxury, it is a little more spartan but charming. I would definitely come back.'
