'Big house with great sized rooms and plenty space for our 15 adults and 5 children. Hot tub was great. Living space/bar area very roomy and open. The owners were very flexible with the Sunday checkout times which was nice of them. The kitchen is a professional kitchen (for the weekday BnB purpose I guess) so not quite the social space that you're used to in a more traditional house. 'Hired the main house + three cottages for a group 40th birthday party in mid Aug-22. As long as you understand that your little away from the main Lake District location, then this place is perfect. House / cottages were all kitted out with modern appliances, had a good number of ensuite bedrooms and were all spotlessly clean. I was initially a little skeptical about hiring a number of separate cottages (rather than another location with one big house) but it actually worked much better....

'Booked for my husband's 60th. Accommodated the eight of us and the dog beautifully. Each couple had their own bathroom although the one by the front door was not ensuite but this was not a problem for us.The sofa is huge and we were all able it sit/stretchout comfortably. The townhouse is fitted out to a high standard and is well equipped. The staff were extremely helpful and sorted an issue with the sky box straight away. 'The chalets are located around a lake with ducks and swans. Nice house with 2 bedrooms, a good sofabed, two badrooms and a complete kitchen. Very helpful reception. Sorry that we only booked one night. We will return!'
