'Even though we booked under the montage name, the hotel met all standards even with new ownership. The property itself is one of the most magical places we have been. We are very excited to come back in the future with our family. '

'Most peaceful beach, gorgeous views, within walking distance to some of the most iconic restaurants, and a great grocery store with delicious poke! Feels like home, everyone (guests, staff, etc.) are all so friendly. We saw a monk seal, sea turtles, and whales! This is the best place to be in all of Maui. We met a couple who told us they’d been vacationing to the Mauian since they honeymooned 50 years ago!!! There’s a reason they keep coming back, and we will too! ❤️❤️❤️'

'Very close to the beach. Nice room, good ammenities. Had an AC in the room. Ice machine did not work sadly. Good place to explore the island but also relax a little in the Napili bay. Supermarket closeby. Loved our stay here. Would definitely come again.'

'We returned after honeymooning 20 years ago. We stayed in Wailea before. This time we enjoyed the close proximity of the whaler village and their restaurants along with the ability to cook with the fully stocked kitchen. Staff were friendly and helpful Wonderful place and will try to stay here again. Hopefully not another 20 years before we are back to beautiful Maui 😊'

'The hotel room had more appliances than was listed or shown in the pictures which was a pleasant surprise. The one complaint was the AC was not working very well. '

'Valet staff were terrific, front desk not so much. Didn't like that nothing was was free- except air we breathe everything was charged. Simply include in the overall price, so I don't have to go through the humiliation of getting evicted for sitting absently under an umbrella. Beach view was incrdedible, the sand was gorgeous, the wildlife was remarkable. Hawaii is truly a special place.'
