Garden View Mini Suite is currently the only 1 bedroom Mini suite in Pohaku Vacation Rentals inventory!  At just about 450 sq ft, "Garden View Mini Suite is an affordable options that sleeps 4 guests and includes a kitchenette along with a sleeper sofa. The bedroom has a King size bed. The condo is fully stocked with linens, towels, soap, shampoo, conditioner and all kitchen utilities and appliances. The condo is located on the 3rd floor (Top) and there are elevators. Sitting on the patio over the resorts lush gardens as you take in the sunrise is the perfect way to start your day while you enjoy your coffee or tea!



There is ample free parking in front of all the buildings. Wi-Fi is included in the price.



This condo is located at the Pono Kai Resort in the historic town of Kapa'a, Kauai. Kapa'a has a small town feel and the resort is within walking distance of restaurants, boutiques, shopping and grocery stores. And if you’re there on the first Saturday of the month, Kapa'a features live music, local crafts and food. You can rent bicycles right next door to the Pono Kai and located within 5 minutes from all water activities; canoeing, kayaking, surfing, etc...



The Pono Kai Resort has many amenities and activities on site. Tennis, basketball, exercise room, shuffle board, horse shoes, mini golf, croquet court, board games, just to name a few.

There are also BBQ's located throughout the resort and laundry facilities located within each building.

Getting Around:

Kapaʻa is centrally located on the east side of Kauaʻi, making it a convenient home base for exploring the island. While there are shops, restaurants, and beaches within walking or biking distance, we highly recommend renting a car to fully experience everything Kauaʻi has to offer.



The resort is about a 15-minute drive from Līhuʻe Airport, and easy access to Kuhio Highway allows you to explore both the North Shore (Princeville, Hanalei) and South Shore (Poʻipū) with ease. For a more local experience, the Ke Ala Hele Makalae coastal bike path runs right along the ocean and is perfect for walking, jogging, or biking.



Ride-sharing services and taxis are available but can be limited, especially in the evenings. If you prefer not to drive, there is also a local bus system, though routes and schedules may be less frequent.



Interaction with Guests:

A phone is provided in each room with the direct extensions to on-site staff. Please use the phone in your room if you have any questions or issues with the condo. Messaging through Airbnb will go to our corporate office located in Florida. That is a 5-6 hour time difference, so utilizing the on site staff is highly recommended. They are they to serve you.
