B&B in Kahikinui Forest Reserve

'Located about 45 minutes to the summit area of Haleakalā and about 2 hours from the Kipahula area. Good centralized location to visit all areas of Maui. I chose this property because of closeness to Haleakala. Unfortunately, the park was closed during our stay. This gave us time to visit all 4 regions oh Maui! All beautiful! 'House was absolutely phenomenal! We got to meet one of the hosts, so glad I got to meet her, learn about the island in the property a little bit. I highly recommend anyone looking to feel at home, experience, something beautiful, and if you’re looking for a place close to the start of the Road to Hana this is your most ideal spot! 'I can’t say enough wonderful things about our stay. I read the comments and completely agree. From the warm welcome and hospitality from Anya and Frank, to the beautiful setting of their gorgeous property, to the nice room…everything was fantastic. I especially enjoyed being able to hang out with Hoku (friendly dog) and Amos and Andy (twin cats) as we roamed the property. Mahalo for the memorable stay. '

'Room was clean and comfortable. Bed was comfortable and television worked. Everything was good. I didn't hear my neighbors. There is a shared lounge area where you can eat or sit and relax. Lots of snacks provided. Beach chairs, beach mat and beach towels were available. '

'Clean, spacious, an outstanding view, and welcoming owners. Short drives to good food (we enjoyed Grandma's for breakfast, and could get to Pukalani, Makawao, or Paia easily.) Haleakala is close. Private, quiet - a great break from the crowds. We thoroughly enjoyed staying here!'
