My room was near the water, but you had to walk down the sand to get to it due to construction work. However, I do feel the hotel needs more lighting in the area and some minor repairs to the property. Otherwise, everything was perfect. 'We stayed on a beachfront room, but unfortunately, it was situated right in front of the bar. So early in the morning, you could hear the staff talking loudly and laughing. I think that in this type of properties, the staff should more quiet, and let the guests have a more quiet vacation. The same happened while having breakfast, the staff communicates with each other by talking loud at a distance, which should not be the case. 'If you’re looking for a tranquil and relaxing experience, away from tourists attractions, Las Verandas is the place. The grounds are well kept and the ocean views are spectacular. The restaurant on site and the poolside bar were amazing. Waitstaff very pleasant and attentive. The beach was very rocky therefore not conducive to swimming but the 2 infinity pools made up for that. We will definitely be returning for another week’s stay.'
