'My husband and I were impressed with the our short stay; the room was very spacious and had everything we needed. Sadly, the TV is not a smart TV but luckily, it was quick trip for us. A firestick might come in handy.l for future reference. We highly appreciated the complimentary breakfast. Overall, we enjoyed the stay and didnt have any issues.'

'I enjoyed our stay very much. All The room face a quiet little courtyard with plenty of seating. The room was clean; the beds were comfortable; the air conditioning worked without issues. The room has a small coffee maker and coffee, and a hair dryer. The hotel is within walking distance to the beach, a Dairy Queen and Overview Diner. (I highly recommend breakfast at Overview Diner!). The staff/owners are available 24/7 and helpful.'

'Near the beach, friendly staff. Problems were solved (sometimes after a reminder). Quality of the breakfast was good. Room was definitely dated. Although clean not in depth. Closer doors were very tired, safe was unresponsive (solved), roaches in the kitchenette (solved), bathroom door stuck and scraped. Staff at the front desk very friendly.'

'The building and the staff were great! Such a cute property and a really nice room. Only downside was that it was pretty loud due to traffic noise outside (and an early morning party in the parking lot next door). But the staff and amenities were really top notch, and breakfast was very tasty both days!'

'If you’re on a budget then suck it up and use them but be prepared for hardship. It smells like smoke and urine. No overnight room service for towels or etc. Breakfast is sad. Not recommended for families or children young in age. They will do their best to make things work. Pool needs to be cleaned. Otherwise housekeeping staff is fantastic!!!'

'Room was clean but certainly no frills. Pretty much what I expected based on the rate. Believe I got value for my money. Would consider staying again. Location is good with many retail establishments along the road.'

'First the building is extremely old and very dirty looking that it could pass for an abandoned building. When we checked into our room on the first floor, the bedding had blood stains and the bathroom shower door couldn’t open all the way due to the toilet being in the way which was very odd. Once we went back to the desk which by the way had 2 sides for 2 different hotels which was odd. We explained the issue and showed pictures in which we were given another room on the third floor. wanted a...

'The room was clean but the beds were small, the staff was great and helpful. The restaurant was great , the snack bar was to expensive it should be free to the people who stay there. The room needed to be bigger with bigger beds and more than one chair . It was to small for two adults and one child. Will I stay again? No ,to expensive and I didn't get my deposit back.'

'The hotel was nice and in a good location for going on a cruise out of norfolk. Our TV in the room did not work. They gave us free breakfast to make up for it, which was nice.'

'They had smoking rooms and non-smoking rooms we went into the smoking first and it looked like they threw the box springs in mud and just put them back in the room. We went to the non-smoking room on one bed obvious dog hair all over I have pictures and the other bed had been used. If I didn't have to give any stars they would have got zero. Unless you are absolutely desperate no matter of fact sleep outside.'
