'Ideal location for visiting Kyoto. Entrance to the most useful subway line is right across the hotel at a 2 minute walk. Rooms are extremely spacious, about the biggest we ever had for this price. Subway prices are very cheap, around €5,- for a day pass. Located next to the international Convention Centre in a very good area. Also lots of shop within a 10 min. walk.'

'The owner was very lovely and polite, he prep matcha tea for welcoming us also offering fresh bread making in the morning for our breakfast but my family were very tired from a long day travelling and activities we did in the area, we just want to sleep in so we had to miss out on that. House was clean. The bath was the highlight for us. Just the tap in both toilets a bit hard to operate so we had to wash our hands in the bathroom instead.'

'Lovely 100-year old house repurposed as guest house. Modern additions such as air con and shower room added around original building with wooden sliding doors and futon beds. Lovely, helpful owners met us and showed us everything - thank you!'
