'When I initially was looking for a place to stay in Iowa City I came across this hotel/motel and the reviews on the rating were very high. To me this was a little bit deceiving it was almost like they paid off Expedia LOL to achieve this High rating. For what it's worth my take on this and I've traveled all over the world and stated a lot of hotels / motels this is at best average and nothing to give this property this type of rating. The midday staff, the gentlemen's name I believe was Alex was...

'We were excited to stay based on the photos online. We were disappointed upon arrival. The parking lot is pretty beaten up, the check in was underwhelming, the luggage cart didn’t work because tires need air. Based on the photos we were excited for a lively and fun hotel- thinking it was a “collection” type line other hotel brands have. The hot tub was lukewarm, the bar connected to the pool was closed, the other bar on-site was very quiet and closed early. The room had comfortable beds and the...
