The house was clean, beds were comfortable, and overall it was a great location for our large group. One thing to note, the interior stairs, both up and down, are steep spiral staircases. The proximity to the water was amazing, so nice to sit out on the docks with coffee or a glass of wine and watch the boats go by. We were fortunate to have fantastic weather as well; definitely one of our best vacation weeks ever!'

'It was a cozy and had a lot to offer for amenities. The beach had a great view of pleasant mountain. We went to the pool almost everyday. It was very nice. The rental was 10 minutes from town so easy to get supplies. I would definitely rent again. It really had a lot of beds too much more than we needed. However, a family of 5 or more would be very happy with the number of beds etc. it was very family oriented with games etc.'

'The lake is beautiful and all of the kayaks and other water gear to enjoy it was much appreciated! The only thing that wasn't clearly explained in the description is that the master bedroom is its own separate structure (so you have to go outside the main cabin to get to it). This was not a problem for us because our kids are older, but if you have very small kiddos, this is important to know. 'Beautiful property, great for family vacation.'

'We have rented many placed in North Conway, mainly ski on/off. This is hands down the nicest property we have been to so far. Direct views of Cranmore Mtn (300 yards away) from the hot tub and upper deck. Extremely spacious, beautifully decorated and a perfect location to the mountain and town. Host was very accommodating and a Joy to work with. We would highly recommend this to anyone looking. '

"Our experience was a mixed bag. Check in was good; the British lady was lovely and friendly. The room was nice and spacious and everything was clean and functional. However, the floors are made of wood and carry a lot of noise. We had a family with small children staying in the room above ours and it was like a herd of elephants was stomping around up there. The pool and hot tubs could do with a good scrubbing. The water in the pool was mucky and not very inviting. All went southways however when the fire alarm sounded a 7 AM in the morning. All the guests left their room and gathered outside but THERE WAS NO STAFF IN SIGHT. No one told us what was going on or what we were supposed to do. When we made a complaint about the poor communication around the fire alarm when we checked out the guy at the counter didn't even bother to look at me. It was a very disappointing ending to what otherwise had been a pretty decent experience. Do better! "
