'I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this property. Easy to find, down a well-maintained dirt road. Check-in was a breeze. Private and quiet. The woods surrounding the property were peaceful and welcome. Deer in the front yard, turkeys in the back, rabbits all around. Super clean and comfy! Weather was spectacular affording many walking opportunities both from and near this rental. Biking would be a plus. Have been renting in April on MV for years...this new location is a prize winner!'

'I recently stayed in this lovely OB home with my family. It was me and 9 other people, and there was plenty of room for everyone. The photos are accurate. The pool was clean and heated. The house is located in a private, wooded area but conveniently located to OB, Edgartown, the airport and beaches. The interior/furniture were so cozy. 'You can see by the photos that the home is outdated. However, this home shouldn't even be rented. I rent homes on VBRO all the time and this is my first bad experience. The doors didn't shut, including the two bathrooms. The larger bathroom we tried to avoid. The toliet moved, you could rock back and forth on it if you wanted too. They put a chain lock on the back of the door to hold it shut. A screw in the light switch, to make the switch work. The door in the smaller bathroom didn't shut...

'The room was very clean. Bed was very comfortable & bathroom was sparkling. Service was excellent. At the time we were there they had construction so it was a little bit loud because we were on the first floor and so we couldn’t open the windows without looking at the construction crew. Great location for access to dining, recreation etc. Overall a great stay for $250 per night. Would not go on the nights they ask for $400 and up. '

'If you want a quaint, MV type motel, this is the place! It is adorable. We had a great view of the harbor and all the activities! The room was small but super clean and comfortable. Everything was pristine. There are great food options nearby. We ate at the Black Dog Bakery, ArtCliff Diner (great breakfast) and the Net Result. All served great food. The bus terminal is really close by for any transportation needs. Would definitely stay again!'

'We thoroughly enjoyed the property and loved the old wood paneling and crown moldings. The home was warm and cozy and the dock and beach front were a hit for our Golden retriever, Murphy. Will be back next year'

'This cozy timber frame was the best vacation rental I have booked by far in Martha's Vineyard. The place was just like being at home with the amenities. It has everything you need in the kitchen, closets with hangers, and a nice size shower. The owners are locals and were kind, thoughtful, and responsive. There is no hesitation about returning to this place.'

'Hotel was the best location you could dream of. Walking distance from the ferry and bus stops,walking location, to the beach, dining and shopping districts. The park ,boardwalk and beaches were relatively close as well. The staff was very professional and helpful. 🌷They were beyond nice. The hotel is also very clean. The coffee in the lobby is the best way to start the day. We are very happy and will be back soon.'

'There were times when the shower in the master bathroom only emitted cold water. The water spigot in the tubs would not turn completely off in bathroom in the hallway. I had trouble with the lockbox. Maybe add more specific directions. It would have been helpful to know that MV transit bus was available at the intersection of the street and County Road.'
