Pensions in Hoa Lu

'The location is in the middle of nowhere so unless you are willing to venture out to really see country life, might be best to book closer to more activity. We thought this location would’ve been considered more of a B&B but their chef was on vacation when we were there and the only thing available to eat/drink would be ramen and beverages that you can purchase from the lobby. Both members of staff were very nice, but there was one morning when we were leaving, and one of the staff members saw...

'Lily could not have been a more friendly, gracious host. She was attending a wedding on my second day so wasn’t able to offer breakfast and offered me back some money. Even doing that, she STILL made the effort to give me a couple sandwiches and a banana the night before, which she didn’t have to do. Her dog is also the best. Highly recommend!'

'De familie was heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Het zwembad was goed onderhouden. Het ontbijt was ok. En er is een heel lekker restaurant vlak achter.'

'Très gentille famille dont le fils Tang, a l’écoute et dévoué. Un petit plus, mettre des draps du dessus serait l’idéal. '

'Nice little place to stay in Ninh Binh. Very welcoming and friendly staff. The room was spacious and clean globally. Very good local food if you want to eat there'

'De eigenaar is vriendelijk, zijn vrouw daarentegen veel minder. Hij is heel behulpzaam, doch lichtte ons wel op door een veel hogere prijs te vragen voor het boeken van een treinticket dan de officiële prijs die door de spoorwegmaatschappij geafficheerd stond in het station toen we daar arriveerden.'

'Anh and the ninh binh palm homestay provided us with one of our most memorable stays in vietnam. Anh is fluent in english and more than willing to provide assistance in booking further transport or suggesting activities in the surrounding areas. We were able to hire a scooter from the homestay for a very fair price which helped us greatly. The room was very clean, the bathroom was perfect with high pressure hot water in the shower. I cant recommended this place highly enough and I am sure we...

'The family that runs this homestay is very warm and friendly. The room was big (surprising for Vietnam!), modern and clean. The best part for us was the view. The limestone mountains and the river we could see out our windows and door were just so picturesque. The location is away from the main homestay areas (although very close to Hoa Lu and the Trang An Boat Ride entrance) as well as any shops. They have a decent food offering, we found it useful to supplement with eating in town and bringing...
