'The stay was more than perfect. The comfort of the facilities is excellent, the rooms are spacious and well insulated from each other.
We slept very well, the breakfast was familial and succulent. But the most wonderful thing is the exceptional quality of the welcome. The owners have a family life full of values and the interaction with Darlene and Phil and the older dad is warm and makes the stay great and unique.
A stop on a journey that represents a true life encounter.

'We could not stay because I had a bad bicycle accident 30 minutes after check in. owner never offered to reschedule since I was in the hospital and could not use the accomodations. My inn keeper was friendly. However the 1st floor was incredibly messy. Surprisingly messy and dusty . I was quite uncomfortable. However our 2nd floor room was clean and tidy. parking was provided. And, it is across from a lovely park and a block away from a famous pretzel shop.'

'The Lodge is much more relaxing than staying at a hotel. We will stay there on future trips. The thematic rooms are charming, and the food was great. The whole place is welcoming. They could trim some branches around the entrance ramp and clear a few spiderwebs, but no big deal. Nature doesn’t stop growing.'
