« We ended up not staying the night. There was no on site staff. The room was cold, you couldn’t adjust the temperature. The bathroom door didn’t close. The water was ice cold, even after running for 10 or so minutes, as the contact person told us to do. We booked the room with the hot tub, which wasn’t usable, so they put us in a room with a jacuzzi tub, not the same thing. Lastly there was a fitted sheet on the bed, but no top sheet under the comforter, which didn’t feel like luxury bedding as...

« Beautiful property, down side of it “no breakfast included”. On sundays everything close early around that property so be mindful of that. I did not like that I ask to stay an extra hour after checkout because I had a horse ride later in the day, they said no and wanted to charge $100 extra for the hour which is insane. »

« Motel standard, calme. Grande chambre, lit correct. Peu de couverture, et nous avons eu froid dans la nuit (nous aurions pu allumer l’AC, en fait). Environnement calme, route peu passante. La television de la chambre d’à côté était assez audible (et a fonctionné toutela nuit). A 08h30, le « buffet » du « petit dejeuner » (probablement 2 tranches de pain de mie) était complètement pillé, personne en vue pour avoir quelque chose à manger. Comme le motel n’est pas cher, cela fait rapport...

« Check in was easy. Friendly staff. Cute place. Looks like an older home with common areas that you're welcome to use. I booked the twin bed room and it was clean and comfortable. Exactly what I needed for a 1 night stay. Pictures of rooms and the grounds were accurate. The only thing that I wish was different was the rug in the room. I wouldve preferred tile or wood. However I would still stay here again if Im ever in the area. Also close to town, shops, restaurants. »

« The Peen Steoud was a great location a we were in the area to attend a wedding. The rooms were clean. Please. Do not get a room with a city view. This is a college and the noise outside kept me awake most of the night. Between the sounds of drag racing on the street and loud partying young people, I could not sleep. I did not take part of the breakfast, so I cannot comment. »

« Room was not clean, staff rude, saw a raccoon late in the night eating garbage. Place is not maintained at all indoor private jacuzzi spitting out black gunk. Carpet smelled terrible and made the entire room smell. Not sure how it has a rating of 8 »

« Great environment, and Hiram is a very friendly host. Our family of 4 has stayed at the "bridge cottage" (unit "109" out of 8 (?)) for 2 nights, in a very relaxing place (forest/pond/pool). We were looking for a place to rest between big cities' craziness and the cottage was a perfect fit. Wifi was terrible though, barely functional. As long as you don't mind an overall rustic/shabby feel, you'll probably have as good a time here as we did. Worth noting, Hiram answered all our questions really...

« It was okay, paid way more than its worth though. This is not a 200$ a night space, but I had no other choice. Would rate higher if it was priced accordingly, front desk staff was great. »
