'We really loved our two night stay at the inn. The innkeepers were super welcoming and attentive. The original (quirky?) decor was both personal and a welcome relief from boring corporate chain hotels or stuffy “colonial” inns. 'We really enjoyed our stay at the Pocono Inn Resort, our room was spacious and clean. It also provided plenty of towels and toiletries (soap, shampoo, conditioner, and body lotion). The beds were also pretty comfortable and the bedding was very nice. Eugene at the front desk was awesome, he was super friendly and we spent quite a bit of time talking with him about the Inn and the local area. He was such a pleasure all weekend. 'We ended up not staying the night. There was no on site staff. The room was cold, you couldn’t adjust the temperature. The bathroom door didn’t close. The water was ice cold, even after running for 10 or so minutes, as the contact person told us to do. We booked the room with the hot tub, which wasn’t usable, so they put us in a room with a jacuzzi tub, not the same thing. Lastly there was a fitted sheet on the bed, but no top sheet under the comforter, which didn’t feel like luxury bedding as...

'Schoon maar basic. Auto kun je gratis voor de deur parkeren, ontbijt is minimaal ook al hou je dan al rekening met de basic Amerikaanse ontbijten vergeleken met Europa. Gehorig, matig wifi en dat is lastig als je voor zaken van dit hotel gebruik maakt. Vriendelijke receptie.'

'This was, I think, the creepiest place I've ever stayed. I do have to mention that the woman at the front desk was absolutely lovely--but she was the only good part of my stay. There were a couple of the tiny roaches in my shower both times I showered (I had to stay two nights). My door looked like it had been mangled in a knife fight. The hallway looked, no joke, very much like the hallway in The Shining. I felt safe enough, like physically, once I had locked the doors-- but it felt very dirty...

'I would never tell anyone to stay at this old, run down place. No amenities in the room, room very small & old. Steps to building very dangerous. Room had a full bed, small round table, a chair & an old TV. Very old A/C unit. Bathroom so small you could hurt yourself in it. Din't even supply wash cloths. I woould rate it a 0 on a scale of 1 to 10. They should pay people to stay there, not the other way around. You are making a big mistake having them on your list of places to stay'

'The pool was amazing. It’s heated to 90° and it’s a saltwater pool so relaxing we were able to order drinks and enjoy and the staff at the hotel. You’re so professional and friendly. We will definitely be there again at such a pleasant experience. It was my wife’s birthday and she had so much fun.!!!'
