'Zeer goed was het ontbijt. Het is een ydillisch huis met prachtige antieke meubels. Ontvangst is netjes.'

'Een redelijk hotel voor een kort verblijf als uitvalsbasis voor Cape Breton. Het is een klein dorp, maar wel genoeg eetgelegenheden (Fastfood) in de buurt.'

'There was no water in the kitchen so we had to fill our coffee pot out of the shower head But they did give us a bit of a break on the rate because of that.'

'Erg aan de prijs voor het gebodene: TV werkte matig, geen koelkast op de kamer. Het ontbijt is van 7 tot 10, maar dat was men vergeten te melden. Om 10:05 was alles opgeruimd en er niks eetbaars meer te krijgen. Het diner was duur en niks bijzonders er was weinig keus. Ik rekende 220 euro af voor verblijf en diner zonder ontbijt en dat is absoluut niet in verhouding met hetgeen geboden wordt.'

'This is an awesome bed and breakfast. Very beautiful location with an amazing view of the Gulf of St. Lawrence, very clean nicely decorated charming rooms. Alaine and Denise were friendly welcoming hosts who were very informative. We had a lovely healthy breakfast and Alaine even played the fiddle! We highly recommend this b&b.'

'The cottage was well represented. Ours had two rooms and was up on a tall hill overlooking the water (water unaccessible). The cottages are directly off the highway and close to the Canso causeway (start of Cape Breton). A town is nearby with all the supplies you could need. The cottage has very basic amenities for the kitchen and such. Ours was $311 for early September, which was on the high side, but we wanted this sort of a place to stay, and not a chain hotel.
