Cottages in Hesperus

'This property has no Air Conditioning. Listing says it has heat but there is no mention of AC. There is no kitchen or dishwasher. It does have a small oven to heat food. The small 1/2 bath has a musty smell and the storm door will only open enough to get in the door. The sheets were clean and beds comfortable. The toilets flushed but sometimes took more than ome attempt and had to wait several minutes for the tank to refill. Overall l was disappointed.'

'Beautiful location, great accommodations especially in the kitchen. The only downside was the dead wasp and flies upstairs and a giant spider and web in the bathroom. My daughter got bitten on her ankles by something in bed. But great place. Peaceful stay. Adorable chalet!'

'I was delighted, upon entering, at all the lovely additional touches I found--from a variety of cozy pullow and throws, warming candles, exotic teas and coffees, snacks and chocolates, muffins and popcorn, and all the way to farm-fresh eggs! I happen to have run into the host and hostess at different times duribg my stay, and appreciated their dining, hiking and sight-seeing suggestions. Most especially, Kevin and Brie are genuinely friendly, caring (especially to this single, female traveler)...

'Very soothing little oasis outside Mancos. Nicely appointed, quiet, with lovely, lush green surroundings. Felt very private. An easy, short drive to Mesa Verde. My singular complaint is that it needs better pillows, but that's such a minor issue. '

'Beautiful home, gave us everything we needed and more. Communication with host was timely and helpful. We enjoyed everything about the place both inside and outside. The price was very reasonable for the excellence we received. Would recommend, and would love to stay there again for an even longer stay. Thank you!'
