« While the inside of the house was clean the outside was terrible! The porch/patio had not been cleaned in a while! There was dirt and thick pollen on everything. There were leaves and burrs from the sycamore trees everywhere! In the base of the patio table there were glass shards. The hot tub had chorine tablets in it but the seats had dirt in them and the sides were gritty. We could not open the cover all the way as it was backed up too close to the fence. « So didnt like the parking to much parking was a little rough. The outside makes it look small but once you go inside it is worth every penny. It was super clean smelled good even had some kitchen supplies I was not expecting that. Plenty of towels and rags. Everything was real easy to use or atleast figure out. « The property looked nothing like the pictures on the outside. The property is all grown up with weeds. It was hard to tell where the steps were. The upstairs bedroom said it had a queen bed… it is a full bed that was very stiff and squeaked so bad when you moved at all. The back deck needs alot of work and one of the boards is rotten and needs replaced. The outside fir pit area was also all grown up. « Willene, the host was very nice and accommodating. Unfortunately, it rained the entirety of our stay so we were unable to fully enjoy the river but it was beautiful and I’m sure we would have enjoyed spending time there if it wasn’t raining so much! Our grandchildren stopped by and were able to enjoy the river for a bit! We did visit Helen, Georgia on one day and on our last night there we had dinner at Hiawassee Brew. « Every one of the dishes were coated with some sort of milkey crust. The skillet was so nasty it still had dried eggs in it. The dishes that we used I soaked them in hot soapy water and scrubbed them in order for us to eat out of them. The icemaker never worked. The pool table well you had to open the fridge door in order to shoot at that end of the table. This was the worse experience of a cabin we have ever had.
